We have chosen to increase the amount of nitrate in U Nitrate from the 400mg found in several other products to 500mg (+25%).

- If your VO2max is 60ml/kg/min or lower, 500mg (8mmol) seems to be enough. You can drink and eat other things during this time, but your saliva, where the conversion from nitrate to nitrite takes place, should not leave your mouth; swallow it instead. This is nothing you need to worry about—just carry on as usual, but remember not to keep spitting every few minutes during these 2.5h.

Developed by biomedical scientists to ensure that you, as a customer, can always be sure that what you buy is safe and of the highest quality.

All ingredients are approved by EFSA (European Food Safety Authority). 100% vegan.

Manufactured according to HACCP / GMP

Questions & Answers

How does U Nitrate work? The nitrate comes from beetroot concentrate and is converted through a series of steps into nitric oxide (NO), the active substance that dilates/widens our blood vessels. This reduces resistance in the blood vessels, increases blood circulation and improves oxygen transport to working muscles.

Do I need to load up on U Nitrate? If your oxygen uptake is above 60ml/kg/min, we recommend 2 shots 2.5h before activity. To ensure a maximum effect, you can also load your levels by taking 1 shot per day for 4-7 days before competition. With loading, 1 shot 2.5h before the start is enough, regardless of oxygen uptake.

Nutritional values

Per 100 ml

Per 60 ml

Energy/kJ

287kJ

172kJ

Energy/kcal

68kcal

41kcal

Fat

0g

0g

Carbohydrates

17g

10g

- of which sugars

1,5g

0,9g

Protein

0,2g

0,1g

Salt

0,01g

0,01g

Nitrate

833mg

500mg

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0767/9901/7308/files/umara-u-nitrate-12x-transparent_96385c1d-8d9e-4180-8da7-682a74deda6f.png?v=1791176513
