These shorts are a classic 2-in-1 design with an inner short. The inner shorts are exceptionally lightweight, flexible and comfortable against the body. They also have mesh pockets along the thighs. The waistband features plenty of handy mesh pockets that can hold everything from your phone and running jacket to nutrition. There are also two loops at the front and back of the waistband where you can attach gear such as poles, carabiners, etc. The waistband is high, stretchy and incredibly comfortable. The outer shorts are treated with DWR (Durable Water Repellent), which keeps the fabric from absorbing moisture. All in all, these shorts earn top marks for comfort, low weight and functionality, with all the pockets as an extra bonus. You won't even notice the pockets are there if you don't use them!
