Umara U Gel 1:0,8
A 33ml liquid gel with a carbohydrate ratio of glucose (maltodextrin) to fructose of 1:0.8. Each gel provides 20g of carbohydrates + electrolytes. Flavours marked with a + sign contain caffeine. This applies across our entire range, and for this product, it's the Cola gel that contains 21mg of caffeine.
The gel is thin and runny, so you don't need to drink water when taking it. The gel contains all 4 major electrolytes lost through sweat (sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium) in a well-balanced amount.
Packaged in a long, slim 160x45mm sachet, sized to fit well in both cycling pockets and running tights. It's filled just enough that you can also fold it once lengthwise if you want it shorter.
Developed by biomedical scientists. Manufactured according to HACCP / GMP
All ingredients are approved by EFSA (European Food Safety Authority).

Questions & Answers:
Should I take a caffeine gel at the beginning or end of a workout/race? Caffeine gels should be taken continuously throughout the entire activity. We recommend 1-2 caffeine gels per hour, which provides a maintenance dose of caffeine equivalent to half a cup of coffee per hour. This helps you maintain your caffeine levels if you have loaded up on caffeine before the start, for example with U Intend. A caffeine gel late in a workout/race can also provide an extra boost at the end of a long race.
How many can I take per hour? You can take up to 5 U Gels per hour, but this only really works when cycling. For running and skiing, the recommendation is 3-4 U Gels per hour if they are your only source of energy.
How quickly does U Gel provide energy? A psychological/neurological energizing effect occurs immediately in the mouth, then it takes 5-10min for the energy to pass through the stomach and reach the small intestine, where the absorption of carbohydrates for onward transport into the bloodstream and muscles begins, and we can start to feel the effect.
