Umara U Gel 1:0,8
A 33ml liquid gel with a carbohydrate composition of glucose (maltodextrin) and fructose at a ratio of 1:0,8. Each gel provides 20g of carbohydrates + electrolytes. Flavours marked with a + sign contain caffeine. This applies throughout our range, and for this product, the Cola gel contains 21mg of caffeine.
The gel is easy to pour, so you don't need to drink water when taking it. The gel contains all 4 major electrolytes lost through sweat (sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium) in well-balanced amounts.
Packaged in a slim 160x45mm sachet sized to fit well in both cycling pockets and running tights. It is filled just enough that you can also fold it in half lengthwise if you want it shorter.

Questions & Answers:
Should I take a caffeine gel at the beginning or end of a workout/race? Caffeine gels should be taken continuously throughout the activity. We recommend 1-2 caffeine gels per hour, providing a maintenance dose of caffeine equivalent to half a cup of coffee per hour. This helps you maintain your caffeine level if you have loaded up on caffeine with, for example, U Intend before the start. A caffeine gel late in your workout/race can also provide an extra boost at the end of a long race.
How many can I take per hour? You can take up to 5 U Gels per hour, but this only really works when cycling. For running and skiing, the recommendation is 3-4 U Gels per hour if they are your only source of energy.
How quickly does U Gel provide energy? A psychological/neurological energising effect occurs immediately in the mouth. It then takes 5-10min for the energy to pass through the stomach and reach the small intestine, where the absorption of carbohydrates for onward transport into the bloodstream and muscles begins, and we can start to feel the effect.
