Hoka shoes generally run a little small compared to other brands. If you haven’t tried Hoka shoes before, we recommend going up half a size. Speedgoat has a close-to-foot fit.

Hoka Speedgoat 6
The all-time favorite is back with an update - Speedgoat 6!
Speedgoat 6 is still the reliable workhorse, now with increased responsiveness, lower weight, and even better grip! The sixth version of Speedgoat has been reduced in weight by around 15 grams without compromising its trail performance. Quite the opposite!
Improved Upper: The upper is now made of Dynamic Sandwich Mesh, a breathable woven material that is thinner than before but just as durable. Reinforcing bands around the midfoot provide stability and keep the foot securely in place. The integrated tongue is thinner and more flexible, wrapping comfortably around the foot. The toe guard at the front is now less stiff and more flexible.
Comfortable Heel: The heel counter is essentially unchanged, with the same anatomical design for maximum comfort and support for the Achilles tendon. An extra loop at the back makes the shoes even easier to put on.
Lighter and More Responsive Midsole: The midsole consists of compressed EVA foam that is both lighter and more responsive in this version, making the Speedgoat 6 a more fun shoe to run in.
Improved Outsole: The Vibram® Megagrip rubber outsole has 5 mm lugs strategically positioned for optimal grip both uphill and downhill. New in this version, the outsole rubber extends slightly up the outside of the forefoot, and extra side lugs have been added for improved grip and stability. The wide sole platform also contributes to good stability.
Speedgoat 6 is still the reliable workhorse that handles most types of terrain and all distances, while the ride and feel have become smoother and easier to run in over the years.
