Skyward X 2 – NEW S26
The most comfortable new release of the year? Skyward X 2 is definitely a contender for the title.
Skyward X 2 is a "supertrainer" with exceptionally good cushioning, responsive foam and a carbon fiber plate. Version two has been fine-tuned to provide an even more secure and stable feel, without losing the responsive feel of the midsole.
The midsole is built the same way as its predecessor: PEBA foam closest to the foot, a convex carbon fiber plate and a base of supercritical EVA foam underneath. The outsole features durable rubber to ensure both good grip on the road and excellent durability. This is a real mileage-eater – and yes, we’ve tested it!
The upper is all about comfort, too, but small adjustments ensure an even better foothold than in the first version. The heel counter is solid and stable, the tongue sits a little closer against the foot, and the mesh offers excellent breathability. The shoe also has reflective details to keep you visible from dawn to dusk – in other words, it’s a companion whether you’re an early riser or prefer evening runs!
Since Skyward X joined the HOKA range, it has gained plenty of fans and great reviews. In version two, you get maximum comfort, top responsiveness and a running experience that really stands out. The weight is lower, while all the great features have been retained and fine-tuned.
If you haven’t jumped on the Skyward X bandwagon yet, we really recommend doing so now. We’re sure you’ll be happy with it, and your legs will thank you!
