Hoka shoes generally run a little small compared to other brands. If you haven’t tried Hoka shoes before, we recommend going up half a size. Speedgoat has a close-to-foot fit.

Hoka Speedgoat 6
The favorite is back in an updated version - Speedgoat 6!
Speedgoat 6 is still the reliable workhorse, but now with increased responsiveness, a lighter weight and even better grip! The sixth version of Speedgoat has been reduced in weight by around 15 grams without compromising its trail performance. Quite the opposite!
Improved upper: The upper is now made from Dynamic Sandwich Mesh, a breathable, woven material that is thinner than before but just as durable. Reinforcing bands around the midfoot provide stability and keep the foot securely in place. The integrated tongue is thinner and more flexible, and wraps comfortably around the foot. The toe protection at the front is now less stiff and more flexible.
Comfortable heel: The heel counter is largely unchanged, with the same anatomical design for maximum comfort and support for the Achilles tendon. An extra loop at the back makes the shoes even easier to put on.
Lighter and more responsive midsole: The midsole is made of compressed EVA foam that is both lighter and more responsive in this version, making the Speedgoat 6 a more enjoyable shoe to run in.
Improved outsole: The Vibram® Megagrip rubber outsole has 5 mm lugs strategically placed for optimal grip both uphill and downhill. New in this version, the outsole rubber extends slightly higher on the outside of the forefoot, and extra side lugs have been added for improved grip and stability. The wide sole platform also contributes to good stability.
Speedgoat 6 is still the reliable workhorse that handles most types of terrain and all distances, while the ride and feel have become smoother and easier to run in over the years.
